The year end is always the busiest months. I am reasoning this is why I’ve been away from the blog world for a bit 😀 I’ve made appointment to see the doctor to schedule our FET cycle which I hope will be sometime in January. A friend has just completed her first IVF cycle and got her BFP! Without being asked, I designated myself as her un-official IVF guide throughout her cycle. How irritating I must have been LOL! Another friend pointed out I knew too much. I know she didn’t mean anything by it but I did take offence. I wish I didn’t have to know about all this stuff. I wish I was one of the lucky ones who don’t have to go through infertility. I guess only the ones who walks in these shoes will understand.

I’m excited to plan for a cycle again. I hope my body is ready to do what it needs to do. I had my dr get my Vitamin D level checked. He didn’t think it was necessary but I still wanted to. The result came out at 58. I was told by the nurse that the normal range should be 60 – 150 or something like that. Since I’m just off by 2, she told me that I didn’t need to supplement?? Really? I got to 58 after some 3 months of taking 2000IU of Vitamin D and she says no need to supplement? I wonder what my reading was before I started taking them. I know there is not much evidence that optimal Vitamin D level helps with fertility at least not for us living in Asia where it is sunny all year around but I’ve noticed that after taking my D, my hair don’t fall out as much and I do have more energy. At least it helps in that area and it’s not expensive either so no harm I’d say.

The New Year is upon us once again. I will not go back and wallow on the New Year resolutions made but unable to materialize but instead look to the New Year for all the possibilities it will bring. Happy New Year dear readers; may the year 2014 be the year we bring our babies home.
